PL: Szukamy Zespołu Edukacyjnego („Zevet”) z Polski na nasz letni Machane 2025! Szukamy osób w wieku 15–17 lat: będziecie zaangażowani zarówno w planowanie, jak i realizację letniego machane, a także w przygotowywanie Peuli i innych aktywności wspólnie z Zespołem Edukacyjnym „Zevet” z Ken Berlin. Podczas obozu będziecie pierwszym punktem kontaktu dla osób uczestniczących („Chanichimot”), przez cały czas będziecie blisko współpracować z koordynatorką pedagogiczną oraz resztą Zespołu Edukacyjnego. Przed Machane odbędzie się szkolenie przygotowujące Was do roli Madrichimot (kurs Hadracha – poniżej szczegóły). Liczba miejsc w polskim Zevecie jest bardzo ograniczona – rejestrujcie się jak najszybciej, zgłoszenia przyjmujemy do 20.04.
EN: We are looking for Educational Team (“Zevet”) from Poland for our Sommermachane 2025! We are looking for teenagers ages 15-17: You will be involved in the planning as well as the implementation of the Sommermachane and plan workshops and other activities with the Ken Berlin Zevet. You are the first contact person for the participants and are in close contact with the coordinator and the rest of the team, and will be also trained ahead to learn how to do so. The number of POL Zevet members is limited, please register as soon as possible and until 20.04.

Who are we?
Hashomer Hatzair is the international, left Jewish youth association in Germany that promotes social justice and dialogue through non-formal education tools. The youth movement was re-established in Germany 13 years ago, after more than 70 years. Our core principle is youth autonomy. We empower youth and young adults to shape their community by organising activities and events. Our activity center in Germany is “Ken Berlin”, which initiates activities all through the year.
What’s a “Sommermachane”?
Meaning “summer camp” in Hebrew (and German), it is a space for children and youth in which they can express themselves freely and build lifelong friendships. Our program contains fun outdoor activities, creative projects and interesting workshops on the values hat guide us. The summer’s highlight will take place at a beautiful camping area in the north of Berlin. It’s got plenty of space and is located close to a big lake. You can find the invitation here.
What do we look for in team members?
We are looking for a motivated, diverse team from different backgrounds. Ideally, you’re 15 to 17 years old and politically interested. But most importantly: you’re excited to create a memorable Sommermachane with us! Experience in working with kids and youth is an advantage but not necessary. Considering your role in the team we ask you: what kind of skills, experience or knowledge do you want to bring to the camp? What kind of activities do you love and feel comfortable with?
How much time should I save for it?
In order to be part of the Team (“Zevet”), there will be obligatory Hadracha days in Warsaw, and a preparation Weekend in Berlin – please save the dates:
- Saturday 10.05.25 (Warsaw)
- Saturday 24.05.25 (Warsaw)
- Saturday 07.06.25 (Warsaw)
- Friday-Sunday 13.-15.06. (Berlin)
- Camp in Berlin 19.-29.08.2025 (north Berlin)
Is it possible to come to only some of the preparation days?
No. However, talk to us if this is the problem.
Does it cost anything?
For the training to become a Madrich*a including the training days and weekend in Berlin, we ask you to pay a cost of 150 EUR. Everyone is welcome to Hashomer Hatzair activities regardless of their financial situation. If you would like to ask for a discount, fill out the HIF (Internal Funding form) parallel to filling out this form: www.hashomer-hatzair.de/hif
