Pessach is just around the corner, and we want to wish you and your families a happy holiday. Pessach is a very special holiday for us, one that reminds us of the importance of freedom. Especially in times like these, this message feels more relevant than ever.
We hope you get to celebrate together with your loved ones.

May 1st – International Workers’ Day March
On May 1st, we’ll be taking part in the annual march of the trade unions for the International Workers‘ Day – together with our Chanichimot and our friends from the Falken Neukölln.
We’ll meet at the Ken at 9:30. Siblings, parents and grandparents are more than welcome to meet us at the march. We will send more information and a registration form later this month.

Upcoming Peulot in May
After a short Osterferien, we’re back at:

• May 17th – Lag Ba’omer Tiyul: Join us for a joyful Lag Baomer picnic in the nature with our Chanichimot
• May 24th – Peula in the Ken

Sommermachane 2025 – Early Bird registration is now open!
Summer is Getting closer and so is our Sommermachane! The early bird registration is now open for our Machane, which will take place from August 19th to 29th, 2025. Don’t miss out!

Call for Polish Zevet – until 20.04.
Our international youth team (“Zevet”) is growing!
We’re currently working with our Polish coordination team to invite and train new Madrichimot (15-17) from Poland to join our summer camp and work with us as part of the team.

New Project: “ShabbatForum” – For Zevet (ages 16+)
We believe every Madrich*a is also always a Chanich*a – with this in mind, we’re starting a new project: “ShabbatForum”, a space for learning, growing, and enjoying together as a Zevet.
The first gathering will take place on April 26th, and follow up with a special group building seminar on May 9–11.

Workshops: Shalom in Judaism
Our new project „Shalom in Judaism – A workshop series on education, empowerment and cooperation“ launches this April! Through text study, creative tools, and open discussions, we’ll explore Jewish perspectives on peace.

Call for short-term Volunteers – Israel–Germany Exchange
We’re looking for 1-2 short-term volunteers for an exchange project in May/June. The person will get to know us and support the work, for a period of 3-4 weeks. The flight and costs are fully funded.
